Julius Caesar was stabbed multiple times,
By the people whom he trusted so much.
His last words 'Et tu, Brute' as he fell,
Into a ruby pool of blood.
As I was Caesar,
And you Brutus.
Whom I so freely opened my heart to,
Only to have it torn to pieces.
Your words are lies,
Like pure venom which drips from a serpent's fangs.
I drank them all in,
Like sweet nectar, till the end.
We could never be,
How we used to be.
And I hope you would understand,
Who your true friend is.
