Why?!

A little round green bean buried itself snugly within the fresh soil.
The Sun saw and surrounded it with her warm golden rays.
As the days went by, the Sun nourished it with love and care.
And soon, a little green head peeped shyly from under the warm blanket of earth .

The Sun then decided to share the fruit of her labour with her friends - Wind, Clouds and Rain.
Together, they swore to keep the seedling healthy and strong,
And took turns to do just that.

One day, the Rain noticed there was a black spot on the stem of the young plant.
Fearing the worst, he alerted the Sun immediately.
The Sun took a look at it and dismissed the matter with a smile,
Saying that it was nothing serious.

Weeks passed but the black spot did not disappear.
Instead, it seemed to have weakened the stem.
Worried that the seedling may not have the chance to grow into a strong and healthy tree, and that such news may devastate Sun,
Rain, Wind and Clouds decided to get rid of the seedling.

Rain poured heavily on the leaves and flooded the roots.
Wind blew strongly at the stem, bending it backwards.
Clouds kept the warm golden rays of the Sun away from the young plant.
Yet, the seedling kept its head up high, refusing to cave in.

When the Sun discovered what her friends tried to do,
How ever Rain, Wind and Clouds try to explain,
The Sun still felt disappointed and betrayed.
She reminded them that they had once sworn to protect and care for the young plant, making sure it grows into the strongest and healthiest tree in the garden.

"Why?!"
